Natural or fibre-cement?

We'll always give you an honest comparison. Natural slate costs more up front but can outlive the building; Eternit slates cost less, weigh less and install faster. Either way, the workmanship underneath — battens, membrane, fixings, ventilation — is where a slate roof is really won or lost, and it's where we don't cut corners.
