Kent peg tiles are unlike anything else in British roofing. Smaller and thicker than modern machine-made tiles, each one varies subtly in colour and camber — which is exactly what gives a peg roof its unmistakable warm, undulating texture. Working with them properly takes patience and genuine specialist knowledge.
We carefully strip and salvage every reusable tile, source matching reclaimed pegs where needed, and re-lay them on new battens and breathable felt. The result: a roof that looks like it's always been there, but performs like it was built yesterday.

How long does a peg tile roof last?
Re-laid properly on new battens and membrane, a peg tile roof will comfortably last 60–100 years. The tiles themselves are often centuries old and still going strong.
